Description
The Fortress large custom mapsheet is a huge hand crafted battlefield I drew for a local convention in 2022.
This is not a physical product. You will download a file you can print at any printing venue of your choice. Therefore, you can choose to use any material you want. As you can see in the images above or the video below, It includes drawn buildings, annotated 1.25in hexes, and anything you would need for it to be fully playable.
The file included is a 44x36inches hexmap (roughly 4 hexsheets in size) at 150dpi and features half a huge bastion fort and the surrounding terrain. Both mechs and tanks will find themselves in a desperate battle to defend or take the fort!
Hardened walls will be not enough to deter any attacks. Fortunately for defenders, autocannon and missile turrets will help dealing with intruders while they navigate around mech scale caltrops and tank traps.
The interior of the fort itself can be divided into two main areas: the military districts and the civilian core. While the central area houses elements like temples, hospitals, or housing, the outer areas include big radio communication dishes, barracks and energy generators that work great as game objectives to capture or destroy. Of course, the repair gantries scattered here can be a huge asset to any defenders.
In addition, while this map is very big as it is, but two of them can be combined to create a complete, bigger fort 8 regular hexmaps in size! Just print it twice, and place the two maps touching each other.
Obviously, this one off map is not compatible with the Sprawl Under Siege line of maps and terrain.
