Description
As the Empire absorbed more of Gar Saxon’s recruits, they sought a more standardized version of the Mandalorian ‘Fang’ Fighter. Featuring standard TIE components, as well as the variable-geometry wings of the Protectorate’s fighters, the Protectorate TIE (or, as some called it, the TIE Fang) was allowed Imperial TIE pilots to pilot this new hybrid with relative ease and minimal additional training.
This version of the model is ready to fit two 1/8″ diameter x 1/16″ magnets for pivoting wings. Simply twist the cockpit off the wing section, carefully snap off the connector, and glue in a pair of magnets!
Scaled for the X-wing miniatures game or any 6mm wargame.
